XeroHome Featured at 2026 Utility Forum, Cambria, CA
XeroHome was proud to be featured at the 2026 California Utility Forum, held April 21–23 in Cambria, California. The annual forum brings together utilities, local governments, researchers, and technology providers to share innovative approaches for advancing energy efficiency, electrification, and decarbonization across California.
As part of the conference, XeroHome President & CEO Mudit Saxena co-presented a technical poster with Amaury Berteaud of the Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments (AMBAG). The poster highlighted how AMBAG and the Central California Rural Regional Energy Network (CCR REN) are using XeroHome's cloud-based energy modeling platform to expand residential outreach across more than 150,000 homes in Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz counties. The project demonstrates how scalable, data-driven energy modeling can complement traditional energy audits by providing homeowners with personalized upgrade recommendations, estimated costs, savings, incentives, and actionable next steps.
The collaboration illustrates how innovative software can help regional agencies engage more homeowners while supporting California's long-term building decarbonization goals. This seminal work with AMBAG contributes to the ongoing conversation about the future of residential energy programs in the state and beyond.
