XeroHome™ Awarded DOE Research Grant
Vistar Energy (XeroHome’s parent company) is proud to be a recipient of the DOE Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase 1 Grant Award. The SBIR grant is a competitive solicitation given to a small businesses to develop building energy-efficient technologies with great potential to improve the energy efficiency in the built environment. This grant is under the 'Building Energy Modeling' category and has been awarded to develop the XeroHome web-based residential energy-efficiency targeting and homeowner engagement tool. XeroHome provides homeowners a customized recommendations to clean energy upgrades using advanced building energy modeling techniques with EnergyPlus™.
